  E-Submission instructions

The following instructions for submitting to Journal of Women's Medicine are organized in question-and-answer format. You can read through the questions in order. When you're ready to continue, go back to the submissions home page.


  Getting started

How do I begin submitting an article?
When you are ready to submit an article and have all the necessary items ready, you should go to E-Submission website to start the process. To submit your article, you will need to fill out the screens of information including uploading files and ahuthor's identification. The process is self-explanatory.

What should I be ready before starting a new submission?
Before you begin to submit you should have the following items ready:
- Article prepared as files (Original paper, Image file, table & figures,cover letter, title page, annotated copy, clean copy,author opinion, final paper...)
- Contact information (e-mail address, mailing address, telephone and fax numbers)
- Details of the authors of your article (surnames and forenames of all authors)
- Other details of the article you are submitting (article title, type of article, field of study, language in written)
- Location of your article file on your local file system
- Registration fee should be paid by remittance or credit card


  Initial submission and review

Where should I put my response to a review of my article?
You should generally respond to review comments by e-mailing the Editorial Office (office@ksog.org). If your article has been revised it should also be re-uploaded. Short responses to review comments may be pasted or typed into the space provided on the re-upload form.

How do I submit a revised article?
To upload a revised version of your article you should take almost the same step for the re-submission. The revised version should again be proper files.
Please note revisions should be submitted only at the specific request of the editorial office handling your article.


  Completing a submission

What are some common errors I should avoid?
Make sure that you include all texts and figures in initial submission. Failure to include all parts of your article in the file submitted may result in an incomplete review document being sent to reviewers.

Check your article fully before submitting. If you find errors after the submission is complete, you will ask editorial office to delete the previous submission data and be required to resubmit your article online. Any such changes could delay the processing of your article.

Be sure to use only the supported file formats. Your submission will not be processed if you use any other formats, and you will need to resubmit it.. Please note that MS word file is only available for manuscript file uploading and '.docx' is not currently supported.

What do I do when my article is accpeted for publication?
- Editorial office will send you an e-mail accepting your article that you should upload the source files of the final version of your article. When you have uploaded all the source files you will be asked
   to confirm that your submission is complete.
- You are provided with confirmation that your article has entered the production process.

What do I do when my article get the review result of minor revision or major revision?
- Editorial office will send you an e-mail the review result (minor revision or minor revision) with the reviewer's comment. You should upload your revised source files for the 2nd-round review.
   It could take another 2~3 weeks for review.
